The applicant submits 15 copies of the EIA project brief (14 hard copies and 1 soft copy). The Director of the Department of Environment will study the EIA project brief and may invite the comments of the relevant Departments and Ministries.
Then, the Director can: i. approve the project if the project shall not result in significant damage to the environment;
ii. suggest the applicant to correct and/or redesign the project in line with stakeholders' comments;
iii. reject the project if the Director and/or stakeholders evaluate that the project may cause damage to the environment.
