Additional information

The senior health assistant will then fill the food handler certificate and stamp it.The applicant will then take the filled certificate to the doctor who will determine if the applicant is fit or not.

If the applicant is found unfit to handle food, he/she will be given medication to take for 7 days and thereafter come back again to the hospital to be tested if he/she is now fit to handle food.

If the applicant is found fit to handle food, the doctor will tick on the certificate that the applicant is fit to handle food and put the signature on the certificate and a stamp.
